The Winter Charity Concert
UNSW MMS is proud to hold our first concert of 2017 in support of The Spinal Network, a charity with the mission of uniting the spinal cord injury community to optimise the quality of life and maximise recovery for those with a spinal cord injury. Consisting mainly of current UNSW medical students under the baton of Nicky Gluch, the Orchestra will perform Beethoven's Symphony No. 1, Elgar's Nimrod and a Video Game Medley, among other works. So invite your friends and families for what will be a great night of music performed by medical students passionate about creating music for the benefit of their local community!

The Spring Charity Concert
UNSW MMS is excited to announce our next charity concert supporting the Women’s Community Shelter, on the 6th of October 7:30pm at Clancy Auditorium, UNSW. UMMS presents “The Spring Charity Concert” features our very own UNSW Medical Orchestra directed by Luis Fernando Madrid. The concert will also feature 6th year medical student, Elizabeth Tee, as soloist in Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 20, in addition to the premiere of a Coldplay Medley by local Sydneysider, Eitan Muir. Other music on show include Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End and Tchaikovsky’s Polonaise. It will be an amazing evening, fundraising for a great cause, so come and show your support!

UNSW MMS is excited to announce that we will be holding our very first concert on the 3rd of June 7:30pm at the Science Theatre, UNSW! The Inaugural Aneurhythms will feature the end-product of over 12 weeks of preparation of performances by the UNSW Medical Orchestra and Choir, featuring Mozart Symphony No. 38, A Tribute to John Williams, Baba Yetu (from "Civilization IV"), and many more. Under the direction of experienced conductors, Luis Fernando Madrid and Jeremy Kindl, this concert will be raising funds and awareness for a local charity that we hope to announce within the week! So get a group of friends to come along and spread the word! It's sure to be a great night with a staff member MCing!
